December 31 – Leisurely Day

This morning Will, Liam and Binuk headed out for a morning of driving a Soviet Era tank.  Or, Will drove, the others rode.  Liam was a bit bummed that he didn’t get to drive it but the cost for a second driver was very high.  But other than that they enjoyed their morning.

Paul, Mary and Jessica headed mid-day for some lunch and shopping at the Great Market Hall.

Other than that the day was quiet with packing being the main occupation.

Around 8:00pm we started seeing fireworks right outside our window.  It was a real treat.  Nice that they started so early (and ended early).  That way we got to see the fireworks, but they didn’t keep us up all night.

Jessica and crew are being picked up at 4:00am for their transfer to the airport and their return home.  We are being picked up at 8:00am…a much more civilized hour.
